Hemant,
Can you repost your diagram somehow? Keep in mind that lots of spaces
(not sure where) get deleted when your post is sent out... maybe you can
draw the diagram vertically, or simply describe exactly what connections
go to where?
If you can do this, I'd be more than happy to help you out with your
problem. I think I know enough about EIGRP to help answer your
questions.
Also, is it possible to post your configurations as well?
Thanks,

Subject: EIGRP redistribution and summarization --- Problem
Hi all,
I have very strange problem with Eigrp redistribution.
Here is the network setup
R4--------------Ethernet----------------------------------- -R5
| |
DS3 T1
| |
R1 ----------------------T1 link ---------R2----Ethernet-- R3
R1 & R3 is doing mutual redistribution from AS20 to AS3. R1 has
10.0.0.0/12 network attached to it. R3 has 10.16.0.0/12 attached its
ethernet.
R1,R2 and R3 are in AS20. R1,R3,R5,R4 are in AS 3.
I have eigrp summarization of 10.0.0.0/12 on both T1 and Ds3 link. Note
T1
is AS=20 and DS3 is in AS=3. Now for some reason in R3 traffic for
10.0.0.0/12 is going through R5 when it supposed to go through R2. It
will
only go through R5 if the T1 between R2 and R1 fails.
Cisco is saying that the summary route that i have on the DS3 is causing
this. This it because it makes the 10.0.0.0/12 route look internal to
both
AS. It has been working for 2 yrs so i do'nt get it why the problem now.
I do'nt have a clue why it is happenning this way.
Another thing i looked at is eigrp events and it is showing 499
13:09:11.193 Ignored route, dup router: 10.20.252.237
Maybe this has to do with this problem.
Does anyone know how i can find out which other router has the same
EIGRP
ID???
Thank you all in advance.
Hemant
