thank you very much, Snow, could I please the detail of this command. I am a
bit more confused. Did you mean ip ospf authentication is applied to
neighbor based authentication instead of area based authentication?
R1----R2----R3
R2 is hub while r1 and r3 are spokes, but all of them are in the same area.
Could I just authenticate the link between r1 and r2 using ip ospf
authentication?
