   This issue, posed differantly, was asked the other day. You
configure your trunk with the access vlan also configured as your backup:

interface GigabitEthernet1/1
  no ip address
  no logging event link-status
  switchport
  switchport access vlan 64
  switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

   substitute 568 for 64.
