Hey guys,
reading on ciscos website I found the following documentation.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk870/tk451/tk374/technologies_tech_note09186a0080093cae.shtml#cs5
My question is at the end it has a accesslist config for: All IPX networks begin with A43XXXXX and CBDXXXXX. Networks A43XXXXXX do not need to go to some routers
they show this :
access-list 805 deny A43C0100
access-list 805 deny A43C0101
access-list 805 deny A43C0102
etc
or you could use this
access-list 905 deny any A4300000.0000.0000.0000 FFFFF.FFFF.FFFF.FFFF
My question is why o you have to go to a extended access list? why not do
access-list 805 deny A4300000.0000.0000.0000 FFFFF.FFFF.FFFF.FFFF
wouldn't that work as well?
