When you were done with your lab and you did a reload of all of your routers
and upon reload, all of your lab objectives were met and all of your routing
tables were what they were suppose to be and you could ping every interface
from every other interface and you are 100% that you met these few not all
inclusive checks, then you might stand a chance with a re-grade.

How well did you go back and re-check everything? And did you re-check
after a complete reload of all your routers? If you have any doubt, then a
re-grade might just be futile.

There have been a few successful re-grades, but they are rare.

Subject: R&S LAB Re-Grade - Any thoughts / experiences

Hi all,

I just took my IE lab for the first time and didn't pass. I know the pass /
fail ration for first timers is low (very low) but I really felt that I had
a good handle on what they asked only going to the DOC CD for 1 question
(worth 4 points). Everything else I knew. After all that I left the testing
center feeling like I was on an unnatural high. But then I saw the bad news
that I had failed and that I could re-take the exam in the next 30 days. I
can think of two things that I had to configure that I used a newer command
/ configuration to accomplish the task and I don't know if they have an
automatic grader that was possibly looking for the more common (older
configurations). If this is the case and I was only say 6 points off then
that could push me over the edge.

I would like to hear any horror or success stories of people who paid the
extra 250 for the re-grade and if you think it's worth it or not.

thanks..
Lee
