Hi List,

My name is Semion Lisyansky and I'm CCIE #12272.
Today I was not allowed to participate in local Cisco
event named CiscoEXPO in Tel Aviv. No actual reason was
provided.

This event, CiscoEXPO, is actually a castrated version of
Networkers - two days, no power sessions, only few
high level lectures. No charge, only pre registration
required. And I was registered.

I employed by MRV, network equipment and components
manufacturer, Cisco uses our optical components, and
of course, we're also an end user. BTW, other persons from
my company was invited to the event.

So, what industrial recognition You're talking about if
Cisco does not respects it by itself?

Or maybe there are a lot of CCIEs in Israel? dime a dosen?
27, by their oficial page.

Are You still want this certification?
