Since the addresses are randomly generated you obviously can't filter
based on the MAC address or you will remove legitimate traffic.
HINT: Try searching the 3550 Software Configuration Guide index for
information on controlling broadcast storms.

Subject: fake destination mac address
Hi all,
I was reading one of the requirements from ipexpert wbk v5.0.
"BBI generates huge traffic to randomly generated fask destination MAC
addresses but still same source MAC address. Filter such type of traffic
on
switch1."
I look through the 3550 user guide and haven't got a clue how to achieve
this.
Anyone could give me a hint.
Rdgs
Sam
