RE: Destination-pattern- More symbols

Hi Raj,

Thanks for the mail- the combination of symbols like .+ , .% confuses me.

Does this mean that 408555+ will call to 408555,4085555,4085555 ?

If I have the following configs and if I dial 408555 on r3 , r1 will ring

R1

Dial-peer voice 1 pots
Destination-pattern 408555

if destination-pattern is 4085555 dialing 408555 on r3 will get a busy tone
if destination-pattern is 40855555 dialing 408555 on r3 will also get a
busy tone

R3

Dial-peer voice 1 voip
Destination-pattern 408555+
Session target ipv4:R1
..

The CCO documents say + means the preceding digit occurred one or more time,
if I understand this correctly , preceding means come before

408555+ means before the + 5 occurred one or more times, does this mean if
I have a dial-peer pots destination pattern of 4085 it will ring.

I tested it , it will not ring if I stop dialing at 4085 but if I dial
408555 then it will ring.

What about 555(43)+

If the destination pattern is 5554343 it will not work only 55543 will work

Thanks,
Paul

Forgot the #1 question

408555+ this means 408555 followed by 5 repeated one or more times ?

what that means is that

40855 followed by 5 repeat atleast one time or more.
