You may want to try this command on both routers on the hsrp interfaces.
"standby use-bia"
If the bridges have a problem with the multicast mac address, this will
force the routers to use there real mac address as the mac for the hsrp
address. Its the same way you can make HSRP work with switchs that don't
support the multicast mac address. When the standy router sees the primary
fail or it stops responding, the standby router sends a gratuitous arp with
its real mac to the switch which then updates the cam table and thus the
hsrp address fails to the secondary box.
