Frame Relay Switching Syntax

- This might seem simple to some. . .

Way back when, when you were configuring
a Cisco router as a frame switch, you would
have probably used the command syntax:

  frame-relay route in-dlci out-interface out-dlci

Now, there appears to be a second command
  syntax:

  connect <tag> in-interface in-dlci out-interface out-dlci

Both seem to accomplish the same thing.

Is there any differences between these
"styles" other than you could switch
  between various types of interfaces,
  i.e. ATM and Frame?

--- Thanks ---
