Did you try to add all your devices in your /etc/hosts? I am using CW2K in solaris and I have
the same problem. Calling Cisco TAC does not help at all.
So one day I decided to put a device in the /etc/hosts file and it was successfully discovered.
Now I have all 140 network element in the /etc/hosts. I don't need to add them one by one
every time I upgrade. The discovery of 140 NE takes very long, usually 3 hours. I just let it
run over night.

Does anyone else have so much problems with discoveries locking up as I do? I have
been trying for months trying to get this to work. Using filters and etc. It might
complete a scan once but hardly ever more than twice. Is there some trick that has
been discovered and how did you resolve?
