Log will only log the access list match while log input will also log
the interface to which the log was associated. Imagine the scenario
where you apply a deny all access list inbound to interfaces e0 and e1
and want to log both - if you just use "log", it will only show the
match but not on which interface the match occurred -- log input will
illustrate both the match and the interface on which the match occurred.

Subject: log and log-input

Hi Group,

I am just wondering if there is a big difference between log and
log-input
under access-list? And under what circumstances we use the two commands?

Thanks and regards - SH
