how does ripv2 decide metric of auto-summary route ?

hi all
  i donot know how does ripv2 decide metric of auto-summary route.
i have tried to do following,but metric of auto-summary route which the neighbor receive alway is 10.
 #sh ip rip da
193.2.0.0/16 auto-summary
193.2.1.0/24 redistributed
    [1] via 0.0.0.0,
193.2.2.0/24 redistributed
    [10] via 133.2.12.2,
193.2.3.3/32 redistributed
    [12] via 133.2.12.2,

#sh ip rip da
193.2.0.0/16 auto-summary
193.2.1.0/24 redistributed
    [1] via 0.0.0.0,
193.2.2.0/24 redistributed
    [10] via 133.2.12.2,
