RE : RIP Neighbor question

Dear Jim
RIP uses broadcast updates. Neighbor command allows updates to access
non broadcast networks. This command does not suppress broadcasts
updates.
So, on an Ethernet network, neighbor command increases rip traffic. Do
not use it!!

Cordialement/Best regards;

Objet : RIP Neighbor question

I have a neighbor statement configured but it is still broadcasting. Is
neighbor statement a v2 only command ?
