Area x nssa default-info originate is used for a Not-So-Stubby area (NOT TS
NSSA) in which you want to allow type 3 summaries and also want to inject a
default. Note that Stub, TS, and TS NSSA all auto-generate a default route.
This is the exception, which is why you have to use the 'default-info orig'
area x nssa no-summary - makes that area a TS NSSA whereas type 3 lsa's are
not leaking into that area, thus giving it Total Stubiness (is that a word)
but automatically generates the default-route as an N2.

Subject: OSPF Trivia
What is the difference between
Area x nssa default-information originate
AND
Area x nssa no-summary
I think:
First one can be used with/on NSSA ASBR and ABR but it will generate
Type 7 LSA which actually puts me in doubt that it should not be used
with NSSA ABR.
Second one will generate Type 3 LSA default in the NSSA and can be used
with/on NSSA ABR only.
Which one is more preferable or correct to use with NSSA ABR?
Thanks,
Shahid
