I only just noticed this posting.
You can perform bridging on a tunnel interface. All commands and rules are
as normal.
However:
- it is not a supported configuration by Cisco
- all packets are process switched and may cause performance problems.
I have done this and it worked pretty good for an IP network. Never had to
use it for DECnet tho.
