I use the freeware tftp server (windows version) from
www.solarwinds.net. It has some error recovery and haven't had any
problems sending files that failed with Cisco's tftp server...

I have had many tftp programs choke on large files. For instance trying
to
tftp
12.2 enterprise on a 3660. It continuously died at about 17 meg.

Try doing ftp. It is faster and more robust anyhow.

Adjust the TFTP server timer...Are you sure theres enough room where
your
placing the file?
Try a different server (http://tftpd32.jounin.net/) this ones always
been
stable for me...

I have been trying to upgrade the code on a 7206, and I'm having a
problem.
I put the file on a UNIX server and I started doing the upgrade but for
some
reason the connection times out after a minute or two. I used the same
server to upgrade other routers and I didn't have any issues. I tried a
few
times using different files with no luck, so I put the file on a
different
server and I had the same problem. The router is in Hong Kong and the
first
server is in the US and the second one is in Singapore. The WAN link is
good and stable. Any thoughts , ideas, or recommendation are greatly
appreciated.
