You all make good points regarding bootcamps, I too attended one of the
bootcamps in question and was initially disappointed. After a couple of
days
My disappointment was focused more on my lack of preparation. I had this
preconceived notion that ready or not the bootcamp would bring me up to
speed for the R&S exam, this is not the case. It is virtually impossible
to expect a 7 day CCIE bootcamp to prepare a candidate with CCNP level
experience. If I could make any changes to the course taken, it would
only be to rename it something like "Late Readiness Training" or "So you
think your ready for the Big Exam". I have attended Global Knowledge
for CCNP training and Unitek for CCIE prep, both are very professional
and have similar quality training. My personal experience at Unitek was
rewarding, and I have no complaints. As a matter of fact, I am soon to
return for a retake of the Bootcamp, as guaranteed by Unitek. If anyone
has any specific question regarding my experience, please email me
offline

I went to Unitek boot camp, it was 7 days from 8:00 to 8:00. like I
mentioned previously the instructor did not lecture on some topics that
the hole class was having problems, and his view of learning was to get
as much hands on as possible so most of the scenarios we completed on
our own. While browsing the documentation cd etc etc. My case is,
instead of spending so much money on the bootcamp, I could have learn on
my own and purchase some equipment or rented some rack time and bought
good books like ipexpert etc. and if I had any questions I pretty sure I
could have gotten answers through postings here, friends, cisco, tac
etc,etc.....I really don't know what out there as far as quality of good
bootcamps and where unitek is ranked. However, it is through here that
comments can arise and we from our judgments.
Has anyone taken global knowledge, globalnettraining, etc

Hi, George:
Which one you went? Unitek or Ipexpert?
If IPexpert, when was your bootcamp? I also had a
very bad experience in IPexpert 7/14-18's class.
Until now, I haven't received the lab solutions from
Brian. Ridiculous?
I should say many firms doing the ccie business have
used groupstudy alias fooling around the subscribers
badly, suck like Cyscoexpert is another terrible case
I have experienced in March/April. Hellocomputer is
even worse...
Pls let me know more details about your case. I plan
to write to Paul, the person hosting the alias, and
all the public about these cheating businesses after
my August exam. My advice is just dispute the credit
charge fully/partially if they don't deserve it.
Have a day and a good study.
Best regards,
