That's the only place it appears on the Doc CD to the best of my knowledge.

However, regular expressions using the same syntax are widely used in
UNIX systems for all kinds of pattern matching. Not a bad thing to have
in your general knowledge toolkit, although they can get long and complex
if you're trying to get really fancy.

Google for "Regular expressions", many references including an O'Reilly
book, the "Owl book" IIRC.
