And dont forget a second filename, in the case when the fist become corrupted
during download!

Example:
 tftp-server flash c2500-j-l.112-23.bin alias cisco2-2500

U will see the special filename cisco2-2500 when you boot the box!

I think Patrick might have wrote the *.* because he might not have known the
IOS that your running and meant that you specify the actual file name that
you wish to "serve up"

R5 as a TFTP server,R5 can transmit IOS image to R3.
The name of the IOS image is c2600-mz-image.
But config-register can not be modified on R3.
And the configuration of R3 can not be modified too.
