I came across a good resource today.
I do a lot on the wireless side of things. Anyway theres a vendor that
sells Linux based wireless routing solutions. I was checking it out for
a new pet project of mine.
Maybe some of you know of Mikrotik.
Long story short, I down loaded the free 8 floppy version of their
software today, threw it on a old P100 computer I had laying around with
two 3com cards, then got the free license from the website.
Guess what, they locked out the wireless module (which makes sense from
their viewpoint), but the OSPF/BGP and VPN modules are enabled in the
free license!!!
For years I wanted a pc based route injector to complement my home lab.
Ive tried to use w2k server, but it never worked well.
Im sure some on the list could use this pc based router with ospf and
bgp enabled in their home labs.
It even has an active link thruput tester, that could be very useful for
QOS testing.

Good Luck, you might want to get the free license while you can :)
