I beleive its a good habbit to enable it. Some routers enable it by default
but others like 2600 and 3600 series are CEF capable but you have to manualy
add "ip cef" to he global configuration. Play it safe and turn it on IMO.
Worst that will happen is you are turning on something that is already on,
so no harm done and you dont accidently leave it out.

I make it a habbit when confronted with a queueing requirement that requires
LLQ, CBWFQ, NBAR, or policy routing.

Just wondering why you say don't worry about this feature? I don't
remember the exam outline, is it missing from the exam outline? I know
cyscoexpert.com just had a question of the week on load balancing per
packet with hsrp redundancy and cef was part of it.

If it's in the exam outline, I'd worry about, cause you could be asked,
if it's not, I fully agree, don't worry about it.
