Jim,
I haven't worked with foundry before, but their documentation
says that they support 802.3ad. .3ad uses LACP (Link Aggregation
Control Protocol) to negotiate an "etherchannel". LACP is like PAgP
(Port Aggregation Protocol), but PAgP is Cisco proprietary. Think of it
like ISL vs .1q. As long as a device supports LACP, a Cisco switch can
channel with it.
