Here in NZ came out to around US$1000.00.
This included two volumes of the "Deploying QoS on the Enterprise" text
book.
6 weeks access to virtual classes and virtual labs.
Honestly, if you gather from the Cisco website as much information as
possible
concerning all the elements of the QoS Framework, you will probably cover
most
of the knowledge for QoS.
Here are most of the items you should research about:
- QoS framework
> Classification and Marking techniques
+ ie: IP Precedence, DSCP, NBAR, MQC.
> Congestion Avoidance techniques
+ ie: Cisco's WRED, FRED
> Congestion Management techniques
+ ie: PQ, CQ, WRR, WFQ, CBWFQ, IP RTP Priority, LLQ.
> Traffic Shaping techniques
+ ie: Policing (CAR), shaping (FRTS, GTS, DTS)
> Link efficiency techniques
+ ie: compression (cRTP), fragmentation (LFI), FRF.12,
FRF.11 Annex-C, MLP interleaving.
- Integrated services
> RSVP
- Differentiated services
> DSCP
- Best effort services
- QoS design methods.
- Call Admission Control (CAC)
- Wireless QoS
Also, search in the archives, because about 6 months ago someone posted a
lot of
QoS links from Cisco.
Cheers mate,
David
Let me know if this helps you.
