DLSW passive and Promiscuous

What is the difference between both of these command :

dlsw local-peer peer-id 10.1.2.1 promiscuous

and

dlsw local-peer peer-id 10.1.2.1 passive

, in both of these cases the peer does not initiate the call . I could not
find much information on it .
