EIGRP Load-Balancing

I just need to confirm the possible solutions to getting EIGRP to load
balance.

Option #1 - Use offset-list, delay, etc.... to alter the metric such that
the metric for the two paths is equal.

Option #2 - Use the variance command to allow for unequal cost
load-balancing.

Are there ANY other possible ways to get EIGRP to load balance? I can't
seem to think of any.
