Hello group
Anyone have good link related configuration on cat3550 voice feature ( voice
vlan and dot1p etc )
3550 documentation on Doc CD doesn't give me all answers.
Example
If I had configured port on cat3550 switchport voice vlan dot1p and
swirchport access vlan 100
IP phone connected to this port and computer connected to data port on
phone.
What is doesn't clear for me in which VLAN soft phone and computer will be
reside in this configuration.
Second question I had enabled dot1p on switch port Ethernet traffic
encapsulated to dot1q or not?
The question is about dot1q to IP phone if I configure dot1q trunk to phone
and I connect desktop to data port
All traffic that will be send from desktop goes to native VLAN and voice
encapsulated to dot1q and tagged with voice vlan ID ?
