Cisco cables are indeed color coded. The green ones are, to the best of
knowledge, rollover cables. They're included with the RJ-style terminal
servers for their async ports. They're electrically identical to the
light blue (console) and black (aux) cables.
I have seen ethernet crossover cables included with some Cisco routers,
but they've been white.
Normal ethernet cables included with Cisco gear are yellow, T-1 RJ cables
are dark blue. USDN U-loop are (I think) orange and S/T are red, but I
might have these backwards. Electrically these are all the same, straight
through.
You can make an ethernet crossover cable for under a buck or buy one at
any computer store or even Rat Shack for under $10.
Cisco-branded kit along the lines of standard cables, power cords, rack
ears and the like is outrageously expensive. Would you believe US $50
for a power cord or the little cover that goes over a WIC slot?
