Hi, L.
The Bridge 1 priority 1 etc. commands are for fallback bridge use.
The spanning-tree vlan 1 priority 1 etc. commands are for switch interfaces
use.
Thx,
BBD (Big Black Dog)

Hello group,
Can someone please tell me what is the difference between...
- bridge 1 priority 1
- bridge-group 1 priority 100
- bridge-group 1 path-cost 5
As compared to
- spanning-tree vlan 1 priority 1
- spanning-tree vlan 1 cost 100
- spanning-tree vlan 1 port-priority 5
When should I use the "bridge" commands, and when should I use the
"spanning-tree" commands?
I spent hours on this, yet I'm still very confused between the 2. Thus any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
L.
