This is strange....... I realize that ffff.ffff.ffff is the broadcast
MAC. And this is the first time I've seen this. But, I'm on a 4507 Sup
IV (running IOS), and when I do a show mac on a particular Port-Channel
interface, I get this:
HQ7#sh mac int po30

Why is it showing ffff.ffff.ffff on the show mac for this interface? I've never noticed this until today, and I'm working on connecting our Cisco switches to an IBM blade server (that has it's own built-in 4-port switch) and I want to make sure this entry didn't come about because of that (which is where I first noticed it).
Any clues or suggestions?
Thanks! Mike W.
