Please make an ASCII diagram and post relevant configs. You don't even
state whether R5 is in the RIP domain or the OSPF domain, but I will
guess that since you say "from R5 except the RIP routes" that R5 is in
the OSPF domain.

If you are saying that R5 cannot successfully ping a route that is in
R5's routing table, then there's a chance that the remote router you are
pinging does not have a route back to R5. Or you have an access list
blocking it. Or you have a discontiguous network. Or ....
