Hi Esther,
The head and tail of a packet (or frame) is relative to the direction of the
packet flow. Imagine a whole bunch of packets waiting to be transmitted out
a low bandwidth serial port. The first part of the packet to arrive at the
output queue is the head the last part is the tail.
