Subject: Unable to access IOS version 12.1 on Doc CD
Hi group,
TAC has just told me that for the last year or more, the Doc CD doesn't
include previous versions of IOS, specifically, version 12.1 - the version
currently used in the lab and that's the reason I haven't been able to
access
that version on the 2 Doc CD's that I have. One is dated Nov 2002 and one
dated April 2003.
They suggusted that if I needed to access version 12.1, I should just go to
the cisco web site, but I told them that in the ccie lab internet access
isn't
available. Then they said, the organization of info for version 12.2 should
be more or less the same as for version 12.1.
While I guess that if that's the best that's available, I'll have to live
with
it but, it strikes me as a less than satisfactory solution.
So, I'm wondering are there other people out there in Group Study land that
are using ver 12.2 as a proxy for 12.1 or am I one of the few people who
doesn't actually have a DOC CD that includes version 12.1?
Thanks, Jim
