Hi guys,

FOr FRTS also there is no fixed formulas out there, I have also tried to
check the archives but they were also not that helpful.
The formulas I know are-

Tc= 125 ms.
CIR = generally set to be the port speed of the remote side router.
Bc=CIR*TC
Excess = CIR + Be/Tc
So Be = (Excess - CIR)Tc

where excess is the port speed of the Hub router. (IS this assumption right
always??? )

I am aware that for voice there are different considertions, but this is
just related to the data traffic.
Is there anything else that we should know in this? Like everything above
the CIR is marked with a DE bit, but when are the packets actually start
dropping? IS it after Bc + Be or is it the access?

Thanks again for your help.

Smiles,
