I think I have a fair understanding of the 'distance' command, but the RIP
routes are not showing wth an AD of 140 on a neighboring OSPF Router (R2).
Here is what I have:

Should this not make the routes appear with an AD of 140 on R2?

Without the above command, I am getting routing loops because R5/R6 are also
running RIP. They mutually redistribute RIP and OPSF.
