Hi,
I don't know whther this design works or not.
cisco switch 1 (PVST) --------------- cisco switch 2 (PVST)
| VLAN503 |
| |
switch without PVST (STP on per-port basis only)
| VLAN504 |
| |
cisco switch 1 (PVST)-------------------cisco switch 2 (PVST)
Please note that all the links between the switches are access links,
not trunk links. There should be one switch on the left and one switch on
the right physically and each of them has 2 VLANs, 503 and 504. I will try
this by myself. I would like to know that is there any issues on this design
and want to get some opinions from the experts. Thanks.
