SITUATION:
I am doing LLQ over Frame-Relay to prioritize voice traffic.
I am running: IOS (tm) 2500 Software (C2500-JOS56I-L), Version 12.1(5)T9, on a 2500 Serie router
with 16Flash/16 DRAM. I forgot to enter the command "Frame-relay traffic-shapping" on the main interface.
I shut down ser 0 to prevent any traffic to flow and type the command .... the router reboots immediately. I have reproduced this several times.
(See Exhibit 1)
===============================================
ATTEMPT:
In order to solve this I did the following:
a. remove the class statement on the dlci
b. put traffic shapping on main interface
c. put the class back on the dlci
result: same problem. Router will reboot.
Apparently there is a similar bug on the 7000s the bug search tool however give me nothing for the 2500
======================
QUESTION:
Anybody seen this before?
Any workaround?
or maybe you can't do LLQ on a 2500 ...
Any help welcome!
Thanks,
Pierre-Alex
