There is no layer 3 image for the 2950. There is an enhanced imaged that
will run on the standard image hardware, though, if that's what you are
looking for. See http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cat2950-archives
and choose one of the images that says "EI" as opposed to "EI and SI". The
enhanced image is supposed to work only on the enhanced hardware but it
seems to work on the standard as well, though you will see error messages at
bootup time. The enhanced image gives you some extra capability, most
notably support of additional QOS commands.
