Bob,

If you're running hybrid mode, then they are two separate devices with two
separate logging functions. You'll want to keep both synchronized to an
NTP source. The MSFC has the advantage of having a hardware calendar.

Subject: OT - ntp on msfc ?

hi guys

quick question - does anybody know should i configure ntp on an msfc if the
switch that it is installed in is configured for ntp (as an ntp client).
does the msfc pick up the time from this or must it be configured
independently (ie ntp server x.x.x.x)- many thanks.
