Usually Cisco gives a 90 days notice. But technically the new IOS
version will take effect once it's loaded onto the routers in the lab
and the routers are reloaded ;-) Sorry couldn't resist ;-)

Subject: Lab changes advance notice policy

Hi,

Does anyone know what Cisco's policy is concerning how far in advance
changes
to the exam have to be announced?

With a new version of IOS just released, I'm wondering how much time
candidates will have from the time Cisco announces that a new IOS will
be used
in the lab to when the version actually goes into effect?

Am I safe in assuming that if Cisco were to announce changes to the lab,
say,
in June, those changes wouldn't go into effect until sometime in October
or
later?

Thanks, Jim
