Hi, this isn't a direct response to your question. Just informational, a
few months ago I shipped some brand new Cisco gear to an offshore software
development my employer contracts with in India and it took around two weeks
from when I was notified that the equipment had landed until it got to the
office.
My employer does a lot of International business and I know the folks in the
shipping dept know what they are doing with regard to paperwork, etc, but it
was still a very frustrating experience. Hopefully your experience is
better or you can find a reseller in country
hth,
dave h

I am interested in buying some cisco gear for my home lab..Was thinking of
getting it from EBAY or other sellers in the US or outside India.
Has anybody bought equipment from sellers outside India??? I am worried
about the customs clearance and other legal issues that might arise. If
anybody has done so please send me your inputs as to how to go about it.
Your inputs will be invalueable.
Does anybody know reliable sellers in India selling at competitive rates???
TIA
Simon
