Hi to all,
Don't know if this has been discussed but here goes. I was
thinking of a way to setup my home lab so a friend could
access it from her home to practice lab scenarios. Another
friend promptly came to my house and installed RealVNC.
It is a free program downloadable from www.realvnc.com
It is sorta like PCanywhere. I just run my PC as VNC server, give my friend my
IP address and she connects to
my PC where I have her setup at my terminal server prompt
to connect to any router or switch in my lab. It is secure because she needs a
password and also only 1 user can connect at a time. This tool has proved
invaluable. Many times I get stuck on a lab scenario. I just call up my
friend
who recently attained his security CCIE after having the R&S number making him
twice as smart :), he connects to
my PC and away we go with the advice and much needed
help. Just figured I'd make this post so others are aware of
