Hi Eric
The association is not done by your CCIE #. It's done by your CCO account.
If you want to get rid of your employer now, so that you can change your job
and be accounted imediately for a potential new employer, without waiting
the year and without getting fired :-), you would have to untie your CCO
from your employers contracts. But this would mean that you loose all your
privilidges resulting from the employer contracts. No TAC-cases (especially
cases opened by your colleagues), no RMAs, no software and so on...
Check your CCO profile under: 'Additional Access'/'Service Contract Owner'
There you should see all your company contracts your CCO is bound to.
Best regards
Roberto

Subject: CCIE Number OT
Hey guys,
Sorry about the off subject.
How do I find out if my number is being used by my present employer If
they are using it how do I get it unassociated with them. ( they have
more than enough ccie's to get the discount ) any ideas on how to get
this info would be greatly appreciated.
