Hello again
I've realized I will never understand what is right and what is wrong
with FRTS, so I use this way lake gateway of last resort before my final
doubt. I am sorry if discussion about it again makes someone upset.
FACTS:
1) Following Brian's excellent explanation few weeks ago, and getting
the wrong idea "I understood this finally", conclusion about Be is that
we can get it with formula:
Be = (AR-CIR)x Tc/1000
2) BUT
Looking at the CCIE power session example slide 132
http://www.cisco.com/networkers/nw02/presos/pws/docs/PS-570.pdf
Here is what we can see:
map-class frame-relay ccie
frame-relay cir 32000
frame-relay bc 4000
frame-relay be 32000
frame-relay mincir 16000
frame-relay adaptive-shaping becn
Assuming port speed 64000 what they say in the slide,
According to our formula
Be = (AR-CIR)x Tc/1000
Be = (64000 - 32000) x 125/1000
Be = 4000
GOD DAMN 4000, not 32000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOW WHAT SHALL I DO?
1) Are they wrong, one of the best gurus CISCO offers us and presents us
how to prepare for the exam?
2) Even if they are wrong, should I be smart and put our "right" 4000 or
their "wrong" 32000, if there is, for example, exact question with exact
numbers??? I believe right is what they think, and it is definitely
important who are "them" - the ones who gives points on this.
3) Hopefully I am wrong and I misunderstood something. That means there
is hope, not just guessing what's right and what's wrong
And advice? I am there in few days :(
Many thanks
niksa
