Barry,
Even though I should ALWAYS double check my advertisements I like doing
it the same way. I tend to trust myself typing in the interface more so
that typing in address space w/ the use of an ACL or PL (fat-finger). In
my production networks I use a PL - funny how much dif I am w/ my
production stuff than I am w/ LAB stuff. Guess it's because I have more
time to spend w/ production sometimes and want it to scale better.??
Thanks,
Scott

Subject: Redistribute Connected- Best Method
When asked to redistribute connected I tend to use a
route-map that matches on the interface. Most
solutions seem to use a route map that matches an
access-list that in turn matches the ip address of the
interfaces. Is there a reason that one method would be
preferred over the other?
!
router isis
redistribute connected route-map C2ISIS
!
route-map C2ISIS permit 10
match interface Loopback0
