The default reference-bandwidth within OSPF is 100Mbps. If you have Gigabit
links on your network, you will need to modify OSPF to take the higher speed
links into account. The command is auto-cost reference-bandwidth 1000 under
the OSPF process. If you modify this setting, you need to do it on all
routers.

So, if you get a question that says to take the gigabit links into account,
change the reference bandwidth.
