Brian,
Like many others I appreciate your valuable input, however, on this
issue of this document I must respectfully disagree with your assertion
that people should not read it.
From what I see almost everything you and others have posted recently is
in complete agreement with this document, except for the calculation of
Tc for large values of Bc. Or did I miss additional posts on other
specific faults of the document?
Since it is difficult to get an overview of FRTS from piecing together
dozens of posts on Groupstudy, I found the document to be a good
learning tool, keeping in mind its inaccuracies. As far as that goes,
most documents longer than a page or two tend to have some minor errors
but that doesn't mean we should completely ignore an otherwise
informative piece of writing.
Again, I look upon you as an excellent resource and would appreciate the
recommendation of a more accurate Cisco introduction to the subject of
Frame Relay Traffic Shaping.
