Mary,
"ppp auth chap callin" will configure RouterB to sometimes authenticate
RouterA (as described by Sumit). If you don't want RouterB to ever
authenticate RouterA, then totally delete "ppp auth chap" from RouterB.
Configure "ppp auth chap" on RouterA so A challenges B; B will respond to
A's challenge but will not issue it's own challenge.
