Hi Chuck,
The said bug was released on 20th March ' 2003 and this TAC engineer suggested
me to upgarde to the leaky ver on 4th April'2003. Well, u r right, TAC is
still the better support group around. If the TAC engineer had just wrote a
precautionary note saying "the IOS u r about to upgrade might have some issues
, so better check out" this wud have alarmed me enough but he didn't bother to
give me this simple precautionary advise. Anyways, i still plan to stick with
TAC coz we have invested a lot in cisco (close to USD 2 Million). Do you have
any idea of the NAS package that TAC offers? Is it really worth it?
mail back,
Nishant

Nishant,
Is it possible the bug hadn't been discovered yet when they told you to use
that version? It seems that every time I run a problem by TAC and we think
it's a bug, the engineer will check for any bugs in a version we're thinking
of trying. I think you just got a new TAC person who forgot that part of
the TAC manual. Overall I think TAC is one of the better support groups
around. Ever call 3Com about a problem like that? Ughhh....
