Jennifer

As far as I know only classful networks show up without masking information.
In that case, the mask is inferred. If masks were not included in the BGP
table entries, I would think the result would be chaos.

Subject: BGP Agg route Info

Hi

r1----r2----r3

Routers are running BGP AS 1. R2 is RR. R1 is advertising aggregate
10.10.10.0/16. How can I config the r1 so that the route appears as
"10.10.10.0" only, with no mask information in the BGP routing table?

I am sure its something I am doing wrong. I saw this question before, but
cannot find the mails.

Thanks
